Perfect Personalised Prints - Reblog
The London marathon is amongst my biggest and proudest achievements, and a day I’ll never forget. Not only was this my first time running London, it was my first ever marathon, and something I trained tirelessly for. I really wanted something special to commemorate my efforts and give me a unique and lasting memory. I’m sure a lot of you can relate!
When I heard about RaceTrace prints I was excited. RaceTrace offer a unique print produced by a London Designer featuring the race name and date and then personalised with your name and time. You can select the colours to make sure it matches any colour scheme in your home and the prints are attractive and simple. Plus the paper is extremely high quality, meaning you don’t necessarily need to have it framed (although that is a website option). The thing I like most is having a print is it means I don’t have to have my medal mounted into a frame, which seemed the other common option offered online- so I can have my medal out to look at it whenever I like.
You can also have a print made of any race that has a map online, so just because you don’t see the race in the list doesn’t mean you can’t have a wonderful commemorative print. I recently surprised a friend with a unique print from Hackney Half Marathon. Having a custom print produced was so easy, you just give the race name, the name of the runner, the time and the date- simple as that. And if it is the first print of that race they have produced, the print is marked to identify it as a premier copy making it extra special. The postage is super-fast and the prints arrive in a sturdy sealed tube so are pristine on arrival. You can even include a personalised note if it is a gift!
And if you do have any questions, the RaceTrace team are LOVELY I cannot stress enough how friendly and helpful they have been. I have my print hung on the wall of our flat by the door, it’s the last thing I see when I leave in the morning and the first thing I see when I return home. If I have a big day ahead and I’m feeling nervous, or I’m returning after a rubbish day, it always makes me smile. I see that print and know I achieved something huge and that I can do anything if I put my mind to it.
